This is the first piece I've ever done with sheet metal. It got painful cutting out all those feathers...

I suppose it's both functional and art. It does open and close, but I didn't really intend to write anything in it.

I used metal scissors (I forget what they're really called) to cut each feather out, about 50 or so total. The metal was pretty thick too.
